Our team

If you've been in touch with us, chances are you'll have spoken to this guy. The man behind the emails and the voice at the end of the phone. If you don't spot him onsite chatting with clients, you'll know Rob's behind the scenes making the dream work. With 17 years' experience under his toolbelt, Rob uses his knowledge to thoughtfully guide his team towards project completion.
When he's not single handedly keeping our local coffee and quiche economy afloat, you'll find him at CrossFit or hanging out with his two little girls at the beach or down the river.

Meet Carol, the backbone of Ironbark Builders known for her exceptional bookkeeping skills. She manages all behind-the-scenes financial operations with precision, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Carol's proactive approach and expertise in financial strategies make her indispensable to Rob and the team.
Outside of work, she's a true bookworm at heart, and loves spending quality time with her family.

Meet John, a skilled carpenter and leading hand at Ironbark Builders. With over 10 years in the trade John's knowledge and expertise is a massive asset in every project. He has a keen eye for design and has been known to trade the nail gun for a hammer all for the sake of the details.
Off-site, he enjoys golfing, fishing, camping and 4x4 with his dog Charlie.

Meet Jase, a dedicated carpenter at Ironbark Builders. Jase is known for his exceptional skills and leadership. With over 30 years experience in the carpentry game he is a huge asset to the team. Jase excels with his expertise and supportive approach and is a fantastic mentor for our apprentices.
Outside of work, he loves exploring on his moto, downhill biking or heading out kitesurfing.

Meet Adam. Adam is one of our original team members and is well on his way to becoming a qualified carpenter. He brings to the team his down-to-earth approach to problem solving and absolute care for his craft. He is a man of many talents. If you can play it, grow it, build it or ride it Adam's your guy.
Outside of work, he loves exploring nature and spending quality time with his young family.

Meet Jethro, our talented carpentry apprentice. Jethro is in his second year at Ironbark Builders and has gone from strength to strength. Not only is he rapidly gaining skills and confidence he also shows exceptional foresight throughout projects. Jethro has an unmatched ability to attract any dog around site. He never met a dog he didn't pat.
When the swell is pumping you'll find Jethro hunting for the perfect wave. When its flat you'll find him skating with his mates.

After working across a range of industries, Chris followed his passion and made the leap into carpentry and hasn’t looked back since.Now in his third year as an apprentice with Ironbark Builders, he brings a practical mindset, a diverse skill set, and a no-nonsense approach to the team. Always keen to learn, create, and grow, Chris makes the most of every day on site.Off the tools, you’ll catch him at local gigs, out walking his dog Hunnie, or enjoying time with his partner, family, and friends. 👷♂️🐾🎶

With a deep respect for timber and a keen eye for detail, Kelfie brings true craftsmanship to every build.
For him, it’s not just about getting the job done. It’s about creating something that lasts and something that matters.
Outside of work, you’ll find him by the ocean or river, recharging in the same environment he’s committed to protecting. His passion for sustainable building runs deep, and it shows in everything he does.
Kelfie’s care, skill, and dedication make him a valuable part of our crew and a big reason we’re able to build homes that feel just right.

Driven by a love for craftsmanship and a deep connection to nature, Lachie brings the same energy to building as he does to chasing waves and exploring the coast.With a strong sense of integrity, a passion for learning, and a good dose of humour, Lachie embodies the values we live by at Ironbark, strength, quality, and heart.For Lachie, it's all about good days on site with good people, growing together, and building something that lasts. Because at the end of the day, Ironbark is only as strong as the crew behind it.

His craftsmanship consistently exceeds our standards.Mitch brings a deep respect for sustainable building and eco-friendly materials to the team, helping us deliver smarter, greener homes.Off the tools, you’ll find him in the surf or enjoying time with his wife and young son.
